MOORESTOWN, NJ (September 22, 2009) - CVC Thermoset Specialties (CVC), a division of Emerald Performance Materials, has completed the integration of its distribution network to consolidate and unify coverage for all of its product lines within Europe and the Far East. Further, CVC has added new distributors within key regions of the Far East to improve its geographic coverage and customer service. As a result, customers in these regions will now be supported with local supply and service from local distribution partners, as well as CVC’s regional sales offices in Europe and Asia, and the company’s corporate R&D and applications scientists.
The reorganization and expansion of the distribution network was the latest action taken by the company following the acquisition of the CVC Specialty Chemical business in 2008 and subsequent combination with Emerald’s RLP products to form the new division focused on thermoset materials.
According to John Cech, president of CVC, the distribution changes were made to provide customers with one-stop-shopping for their specialty thermoset formulating ingredients and support CVC’s growing customer base around the world. “This change will make it easier for our international customers to combine their purchases with one source and provide improved technical support through one local organization in each country,” said Cech.
These distributors will represent all of CVC’s product lines, including EPALLOY™ specialty epoxy resins, ERISYS™ monomers and modifiers, HYPRO™ reactive liquid polymers, HyPOX™ elastomer modified resins and OMICURE™ catalysts and accelerators. The company’s distribution network includes:

The CVC distributors provide service and support to industries with applications strategic to the CVC Thermoset Specialties business.
